Author and Career Re-Inventor

Molly Mahoney Matthews spent the majority of her career building a communications company. After selling the business, she started teaching career workshops to college students and created an online curriculum designed to help them create work they love. She also wrote the book, Job-IQ: How to Find a Job, Create a Career, Build a Business. In the curriculum and book, rather than unspooling a dry list of dos and don’ts, Molly shares pragmatic advice on how to connect the dots between entrepreneurship, education, and empowerment. She is currently expanding the curriculum for people 50+ interested in career re-invention.

Molly re-invented herself as an author, a career pivot that occurred when she joined a writer’s group to complete Job-IQ Stories. As a lark, Molly experimented writing a few pages of what would become her first novel, Irish Luck, Chinese Medicine. She discovered a love for channeling characters’ voices. Now, they won’t stop talking! She is writing a prequel and sequel for a trilogy, The Mulberry Chronicles.
